In a house like that they'd be better off keeping the food in an attic. especially apples or potatoes etc - they prefer dry not damp. Maybe it rains through the roof. |

Letting in a guy with a gun who doesn't give any straight answers - haven't they not yet learned their lesson? I trust no one. Is it cos they are all middle class? Abby is not middle class - she's definitely upper class. She had servants! Upper, middle, precious few oiks about. did she have servants? i thought it was just a cleaning type lady. I'd say she's lower upper (if that makes sense) definitely not 'old money'. Well, she was married to Peter Bowles, and he was always super posh

you can grow pinapples & citrus here in the south - but you'd need a nice warm orangery & the petrol to grow it (plus seed) I think he's right there. tea we can grow here, but again you'd need the plants. |

you can grow pinapples & citrus here in the south - but you'd need a nice warm orangery & the petrol to grow it (plus seed) I think he's right there. tea we can grow here, but again you'd need the plants. Hmmm, maybe I should get some tea and cocoa before the next pandemic strikes. Problem is, I haven't got any green fingers. I even managed to kill a tillandsia... |

Why are they not siphoning the petrol out already? they must have summat to put it into, even if it's buckets & bathtubs!! |

there must be lots of farms dotted about the manor house - I woulda gone round & got all the petrol out of the farm equipment & whatever stockpiles the farmer had. |
