So they're down by the South Sandwich Islands? Don't they know that area is geologically unstable?

If Nelson has globally important calculations to do...why is he piloting the mini flying sub? He can multitask? |

So who d'you think is the baddie out of those 3? Either the one we don't really know, the one that's a bit different or the one who has a black hat. You know the rules. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

This story reminds me of Neville Shute's On the Beach. I haven't read that one. Absolutely worth it. After the war is over, a radioactive cloud begins to sweep southwards on the winds, gradually poisoning everything in its path. An American submarine captain is among the survivors left sheltering in Australia, preparing with the locals for the inevitable. Despite his memories of his wife, he becomes close to a young woman struggling to accept the harsh realities of their situation. Then a faint Morse code signal is picked up, transmitting from the United States and the submarine must set sail through the bleak ocean to search for signs of life. Stick with the book rather than the film. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

For that matter, tell me about Borgia rings. Are they of interest to a Federation officer?

For that matter, tell me about Borgia rings. Are they of interest to a Federation officer? Rings with a compartment for poison, which could be released into a drink. I associate them with the Borgias, but I think that they were used as far back as the Roman empire. |
