Drubbing, eh? Interesting concept. He got a thrashing last week if you recall. i was thinking more about practical applications in the present day. Are you pro corporal punishment? Depends on who needs it. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I think I would be less likely to take it for granted that my god-daughter would be happy to have a lodger than the old lady seems to be. The old bat seems quite happy to let strangers in her home. Silflay hraka, u embleer rah!

As long as they're paying, I suppose. Also, likely to be better company than a 16yr old. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I don't think that duffel coats are authentically Victorian. |

I don't think that duffel coats are authentically Victorian. Its history was first woven in the 17th century in Belgium, in Duffelzandhoven, where the well-named duffel, a thick, black wool, was used to make the coats worn by the 17th-century navy. (Armor-Lux) "You're not sulking, I hope?"

(Armor-Lux) I stand corrected. So she won't be mistaken for a modern girl, she'll be mistaken for a Belgian? |

Presumably they had to build a circular track around the moondial for the cameraman to do the spinning thing.

I do like the music. The repetitive notes of the piano and the strum of the banjo....
