I love the way they didn't really explain anything. Leave 'em wanting more, and all that.

That was brilliant. Baffling but brilliant.

Yeah, didn't have a Scooby what was happening in the final episode, although I liked the creepy, circular ending.

Being a young romantic in 76/77, I wanted Adam and Margaret to get together. Sopoy mare...

Young romantic in 77, New Romantic in '81????

That was very creepy, and very good. Still didn't make a lot of sense, but . . .

I love it when it leaves you thinking

Thanks everyone - enjoyed that, good suggestion CB. Anyone got further suggestions for the Thursday rewatches, once we get the Jubilee, Eurovision, etc all out the way.

Talking of escaping villages, anyone up for the Prisoner at the some point?
Vote Og.

Crosser isn't a word. If you're not careful I'll tell them where to read more of your 'jokes'.

Now there's a thought... A friend of mine actually runs a blog called Weird Wiltshire - she'll be delighted I got to give it a plug!

Golly we've been through it tonight. Prehistoric megaliths, Ancient Greek geometry, atomic clocks, 'does caesium smell?'... and Blake being just as Blake-y as always. Great stuff.

Have we got a designated decision maker?

So it looks like we're watching 6 things at once next week...

Cygnus Bazza
I think we ought to stick with Quatermass - I just don't know what bit!

Not me. I am at the boring old theatre, watching a boring old play Sad

And again on the 25th... Sad

You and your 'experimental theatre'... We should perhaps defer Q then. What about M1's JP thingy?

JP THINGY?

'Moondial' I think it's called. '80s children's show. Never heard of it but M1 sent me a link and insisted I watch it. So I watched the first 2 minutes and implied I'd watched most of it. Like you do.

OneSparePart
Go for it. I can catch it up without blubbing cos you were watching Quatermass without me. Self self self...all I think of...

Moondial. Can't be done unless we find somewhere that streams it for free. Although the DVD isn't all that expensive...https://www.amazon.co.uk/Moondial-DVD...=8-2-fkmr0

I think that's probably a done deal. Speaking of 'done', I need some toast. Over and out! Great fun!

AnneArthur
I think I'll go and get the dinner on now - I'm getting hungry! I'll check in sometime and find out what we're watching. Goodnight!

On Saturday, me and my bro' are thrashing it down south to go to Stonehenge AND it looks like we're going home via Avebury! Woo and hoo!
It is really a quick dash around cos we have to get back to the agéd P. But...prehistory! Grin

Excellent!!! I can guarantee it'll be worth it. Especially Avebury. The long barrow's a little way from the circle/henge but there's a layby you can park in (on the A4, right by Silbury Hill). Blimey, I'm envious - and I was only last there 6 weeks ago!

Oh and if you've got just a sliver of time in your schedule, Aldbourne (Daemons) is 15 miles from Avebury, south of the M4 to the east of Swindon (near the River Og, would you believe...) You could drive through it, even if you don't have time to stop. Shame to come all this way and not play 'spot the fake vicar'.

Have a fabulous 'experience'. I'm sure you'll return suitably 'changed'...
