I love the way they didn't really explain anything. Leave 'em wanting more, and all that.

That was brilliant. Baffling but brilliant. Yeah, didn't have a Scooby what was happening in the final episode, although I liked the creepy, circular ending. Being a young romantic in 76/77, I wanted Adam and Margaret to get together. Sopoy mare... Young romantic in 77, New Romantic in '81???? |

Thanks everyone - enjoyed that, good suggestion CB. Anyone got further suggestions for the Thursday rewatches, once we get the Jubilee, Eurovision, etc all out the way. Talking of escaping villages, anyone up for the Prisoner at the some point? Vote Og.

Golly we've been through it tonight. Prehistoric megaliths, Ancient Greek geometry, atomic clocks, 'does caesium smell?'... and Blake being just as Blake-y as always. Great stuff.

'Moondial' I think it's called. '80s children's show. Never heard of it but M1 sent me a link and insisted I watch it. So I watched the first 2 minutes and implied I'd watched most of it. Like you do. |

JP THINGY? Moondial. Can't be done unless we find somewhere that streams it for free. Although the DVD isn't all that expensive...https://www.amazon.co.uk/Moondial-DVD...=8-2-fkmr0 "You're not sulking, I hope?"

It is really a quick dash around cos we have to get back to the agéd P. But...prehistory! ![]() Excellent!!! I can guarantee it'll be worth it. Especially Avebury. The long barrow's a little way from the circle/henge but there's a layby you can park in (on the A4, right by Silbury Hill). Blimey, I'm envious - and I was only last there 6 weeks ago! Oh and if you've got just a sliver of time in your schedule, Aldbourne (Daemons) is 15 miles from Avebury, south of the M4 to the east of Swindon (near the River Og, would you believe...) You could drive through it, even if you don't have time to stop. Shame to come all this way and not play 'spot the fake vicar'. Have a fabulous 'experience'. I'm sure you'll return suitably 'changed'... |
