The long barrow's a little way from the circle/henge but there's a layby you can park in (on the A4, right by Silbury Hill). Blimey, I'm envious - and I was only last there 6 weeks ago! Oh and if you've got just a sliver of time in your schedule, Aldbourne (Daemons) is 15 miles from Avebury, south of the M4 to the east of Swindon (near the River Og, would you believe...) You could drive through it, even if you don't have time to stop. Shame to come all this way and not play 'spot the fake vicar'. Have a fabulous 'experience'. I'm sure you'll return suitably 'changed'...
