Used to be with OPTUS now with Telstra & since getting my new phone I've now got full security scanning system installed. Feels like I've got a mini ORAC

Doran's costume is a bit like what student nurses used to wear. The same colours, anyway. But dirtier.

I think if I were in a hospital and he showed up, I'd check myself out!

Hindsight is a marvellous thing. I think if you didn't know he was really a Sea Creature, he's be quite a charmer.

Forgive me for not following Aussie news, but what's an Optus data breach, and how are you involved?

Optus is one of our largest telcos. They left their computer systems exposed and hackers got all the data of all their customers. Names, addresses, birthdates, drivers license numbers, passports etc. 10 million Australian’s have lost their data to hackers. Considering there are only 25 million people in Australia it’s been a major catastrophe here.

Wow. So you have to change all your bank details and everything? So sorry to hear that.

Yep. People are even being told to get new drivers license and passports but a week ago there was actually no way of doing this as computer systems and laws only allowed for change of these documents in the event of someone actually stealing money from you. So both the federal and state governments have had to hastily change a lot of computer systems and laws.

No, I think he's got 'wrong 'un' written all over him.

Hi Soolin.

Was going to watch B7 again but a bright sunny October day & spent half the day pulling out a Yukka stump. All's that left is general tidy up, weeds growing like wildfire.

Xenon is a very weird shade of green.

Why on Earth (or on Xenon) would Soolin say 'This is Xenon base..." She's the only person likely to call him, and he knows where she is.

Do you realise ‘past’ customers are affected? As Optus still had their data in their system. You might want to follow up with Optus just to check if your data has been included in the hack or not.

Pilot53
I miss the old gang but since they updated with new ship & actors I'm getting to like them. In all the entire series is by far one of if not the best ever created.

Yeah good question.

Good idea, Avon. If Dorian's carrying something, he can't reach for a weapon.

Thanks Tyce I'll look into that, never occurred to me but it's been over 20 odd years or more since then.

I so incredibly like the look on Soolin’s face when she pushes Avon’s gun out of the way.

She likes the sound of herself saying it?

Still trying to work out why Dorian was the way he was? As I see it he took people down below & he got their youth & that's how he stayed young or am I missing something?

If it’s 20 years back you might be okay. But I know people who were customers 6 or 7 years ago have been hacked.

Soolin gets the eighties glasses (to be found in every sefl-respecting student flat) out.

Some episodes I found confusing so had to rewatch them to help clarify what I was watching.

Nope, I think you've got it.
Of course, it's a take on Oscar Wilde's ' The picture of Dorian Grey' where the portrait aged but the man didn't.

Pity other members here aren't here to join in. Seeing the membership is growing rapidly each week. Be even better if we or some to have a social night out. I know it's difficult due to vast distances etc. Just a passing thought

I think that's right. The monster absorbs them, and that allows it to absorb more of Dorian's negativity, and gives him his youth back.

Why not suggest it on the meetings thread?

If Tarrant is puffed out going ‘down’ the stairs how the heck is he going to get back up?

Saw several photos of Supreme Commander Servalan on fb outstanding photos showing several different shots & her magnificent wardrobe of clothes.
Always admired her dress sense very modern & trendy.

He was quite badly injured in the explosion on Terminal, and he hasn't had a chance to rest since.

But the teleport isn’t working…..

The look on Vila‘s face when he finds out his gun is useless is hilarious.

A meeting thread sounds great. I know there us here from Australia as you know I'm from Melbourne & others from interstate. Used to be more from here but that was way, way back in the days of old.

I know I keep going on about it, but just think how much better the character of Dayna would be (would have been?) if she was played by someone several years younger - say 14 or 15 rather than 19/20. It would change the feel of the whole thing. As it is, people have to pretend she's younger than she is.

Poor Vila he seems to cop it no matter what....he's the one crew member I really feel for.

Ms. Virn yes Dayna is young but just think 'if' they did introduce a younger Dayna? The mind boggles.....

If you need help setting up the thread, just ask.
