It would have its compensations. I'm feeling rather overwhelmed with work, approaching Christmas etc. etc.

I feel for you. I am overwhelmed with things too

B7 is the best antidote. Trust me, after the past couple of years, I know this to be true.
Also, last time we talked, you were looking for work, Anne. What happened?

I'm teaching postgraduates Old French, I'm translating a Cornish court roll for a woman who lives there, and I'm getting up early every day in case I get any supply teaching. Mostly I'm not - except for yesterday when I couldn't do it. So lots of work - but not lots of pay, alas.

Well done! Hopefully some pay, here and there. And something will turn up, eventually. That job on the tills at ASDA, for example.

The Radetsky March works so well for this.

Something else you can't stop.

M1795537OCVirn
Right. So far, I want a golf cart and a molecular model set. I don't want a maid like her, or a college scarf like #2's. Already got one.

Why stick a phone booth in the middle of a road? It's so obviously fake.

Is that not the point?

The most frightening thing about Portmerion is that it isn't fake. Also it's in Wales. This could - and did - happen (didn't it?).

Gosh - a very young Paul Eddington.

M1795537OCVirn
How did they train a meteorological balloon to attack? They're not usually agressive.

I'm beginning to think those lava lamps are a bit sinister. Do they move about, or are there lots of them?

Hang on - Paul Eddington jumps out of the window and dies...and Number 1 vanishes. Is there a connection??

I had intended to join in but I started watching the Daleks in colour!! However, Thursdays from now on are busy. Apologies
I look behind me, what do I see? A pair of golden wings seem to be attached to me.

AnneArthur
No, not Deep Roy as the butler - if that was who you thought he was.
