Yes, it was good.

Tortoise, surely. Grin

Absolutely! Is the UK the only place they're given the right name?

All right. I need to google all of this.

By the way, that film that we have just watched reminded me of one short story. I read it once in Russian. It was about boys playing hide-and-seek. One boy was new among them and didn't understand this game. He hid, but nobody found him. Twenty years later the main hero came back and found this boy who hid not just in space, but in time. He returned only now.

I love stuff like that.

M'Virn, if this has a sad ending for the robot, I'm going to come up to the Lake District and chuck you in mucky Lake Windermere.

I want that house, BTW.

That robot was really good, and the story was excellent, though a bit sad.

Well? Am I still in danger of a dip in the blue-green algae pond at the bottom of the garden?

Yeah, I would like to be friends with that robot.

Life can be sad. It's how we come through it that matters. Nigel got there in the end.

Actually, it's rained so much the past few days, the lake is a lot nearer!

It's OSP's turn to choose, I think.

Good, because I am not sure what to advise. I have some movies in mind, but it is not science fiction.

I thought it would be more appropriate for those Sunday rewatches or whatever we wanted to do...
All right then.

That was a lovely rewatch. Except for alternative math. Should have had an S....

Some bits are. But once upon a time, (when we lived a bit further south) a sub-aqua club came to dive off the shore. They had to walk a long way out (about 50yards!)in all their gear before it was much above knee-height. They almost couldn't do any swimming because they were laughing so much,
OK. fellow-triumvratees, I'm going to sort a few e-mails. It's probably past Taiellin's bedtime, too. Thanks for the rewatch, and hope to see you next time.

There's a sort of hope that we'll find something with a B7 or SF connection, but no rules.
