When my brother worked for Lothian regional Council, they used to run nuclear waste from Torness round the old Edinburgh suburban railway - which wasn't safe for passenger transport. While I'm not all that far from the Big Radioactive Hole aka the 'safe' waste repository at whatever they're calling Calder Hall/Windscale/Sellafield these days. In a science lesson, my daughter's group were a bit worried to find that the girl from Seascale (just along the coast from Sellafiled) made the Geiger counter they were learning about start clicking. A lot. Yikes! |

I think this is the 1st tv show I saw with a dead person represented in this way: as a live person It's a really clever way to develop the plot. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Ooh. A Morris Minor - I passed my driving test in one. Never drove it like that, though. |

I bet Craven wishes he had a mobile phone so that he could copy that page of the report.

There is no spare dialogue/scenes in this. It is jam packed with story. I've had to pay attention!

Well, it's been....interesting. Another sleepless night ahead, I think. Great rewatch. Let's do this again next week!

Well, it's been....interesting. Another sleepless night ahead, I think. Great rewatch. Let's do this again next week! My problem wasn't sleeplessness. Vivid dreams, in which Ronnie Craven loomed large. Still can't wait for next week's continuing rewatch... Silflay hraka, u embleer rah!
