Imagine being in the 1950s, with A bomb tests going on etc, seeing this film for the 1st time. Must have been scary. Also, everyone had just experienced World War 2. With flying bombs and chemical weapons and blanket bombing. When there would indeed have been a lot of research carried on in secret and on the fly. |
