That wall display behind the Klingons looks like a BR train control layout.

These close-ups are a bit too close on my screen. I'm only getting noses.

All this series has been like this. The edges are cut off - it's very disconcerting.

The solution is simple. Buy the boxsets!

True, but I don't have that kind of money to spend on something i would only watch very occasionally.

This is very silly but it's about to get sillier...

Transporting within the ship? Interesting. I wonder if Orac could make that happen on Libby? Might prove useful - perhaps especially for Vila. (They'd make him test it anyway).

That was a rotten episode.

How come at the start you are ahead of me in the episode but at the end I get there 1st?

It's catching.

Actually I thought that was quite an effective end. Alien departs, to universal ridicule. I thought it was going to turn into some sort of sententious humanoid and explain itself.

M1795537OCVirn
Good old Jim! Such a goody-goody!

Talk about a jokey ending!

I like that we don't find out what it is, or what its motivation is. I like that two 'inferior' races can defeat a godlike 'pure energy' being. I like that it's so simple.

Absolutely. It's just all the overdone acting that spoils a really good idea.

I like what you said but not the display of it on screen. Can't all like the same thing.

OK, nine down, only one to go. Start thinking what comes after ST for the non-B7 rewatches.

I think I'm probably quite good at not noticing that sort of thing too much.

AnneArthur

Complete with Tholian Decimas? (I can but hope . . .)

You'll like that. Jim's not in it much....Wink

The acting was atrocious somewhat in this episode. There are better stories/acting than this.

Anyway, I had better get the dinner on! Thanks for the rewatch - it took me out of real life for an hour, which was good!

M1795537OCVirn
Fascinating. I remembered the alien in this one, but not much else. But i cold guess what was going to happen. Not a favourite ep for me, but watchable.
Time I went to see what's been going on while I was in space with you. Hope to see you next time.
Good luck with the interview, Anne. Something will turn up!

Are we aiming for more sf, funnies, scares or what? Meaning the next rewatches

I don't think there are any rules, except that it's not B7. There usually seems to be some sort of B7 connection - actors/ writers etc in both or just go for SF generally. I wonder if TT is back from his Speedway epics yet?
