I've just remembered how this goes!

Still blank here. Which is good.

I couldn't remember the whole of it, just that No 2 ended up in his dream at one point, they realised he'd worked out the whole thing!

Although we're given rather too much advance notice that No 6 has worked out the whole thing.

I think I agree with 7. Although I enjoyed it, it was a very quiet episode. Not so much of the weirdness

Another 2 bites the dust.

Which is why it's a 7 rather than an 8? Although it was good trying to work out what 6 would do..

I think I need to watch the whole thing....but it was a more thoughtful episode.

Yes - I seem to be alone in finding last week's the weakest episode. And I've always been partial to sinister 60s scientists.

Well, thanks for letting me in at the last minute. Looking forward to next time!

The excitement level wasn't as high as in last week's episode. As TT pointed out, 6 worked it out so...no jeopardy

Yes - me too. I'm really enjoying these.
Do you think people would mind if I posted my advent calendar post a little early? I'm likely to be out tomorrow morning.

The Chimes Of Big Ben is my favourite or maybe joint favourite (alongside The Girl Who Was Death) of the entire lot.

It's got the best No 2 (Leo McKern), plus one of No 6's best attempts to escape - for a moment, you think he's made it back to London (except I did remember the twist). It's also about the closest he ever comes to revealing why he resigned - he's in the process of saying why the Chimes Of Big Ben strike.

Back in 1992 or whenever I first saw it (it was repeated on Channel 4), the first episode intrigued me - but it was the second that completely draw me in.

I don't mind A, B and C, but for me, it's more run-of-the-mill episode with a low threat level. No 6 is on top the whole time - the experiment isn't close to succeeding.

I will either not be here tomorrow, or I will be late, as I have to go to Edinburgh to see my mother.
