I think I'll plump for Blackadder 3 due to the dr johnson episode. Although that episode doesn't feature a turnip shaped like a thingie, Vote Og.

There wasn't a full series of Blackadder in 1988, but A Christmas Carol was a nice surprise before the next year and fourth series and it's tragic end (copycats!).

Life on Mars sounds like a good idea. I have to go now - there's a garden chair I need to wrap for someone's Christmas present. Somehow, I think they're going to guess what it is... Have a great week, and a fantastic Christmas rebels. Anne - the Aussies are doing a double rewatch on Saturday - Warlord AND Blake (on the 'right' day). "You're not sulking, I hope?"
