Good, isn't it? It works so well, and I love the 'bewitched, bothered, and bewildered' credit for Terry Nation at the very end.

The same person had a couple of other goes at doing similar ideas. One was giving the end of Voice from the Past the kind of 'shots of the cast' end credits you used to see on Croft-Perry sitcoms (and "Miranda"). Another was this, which simply uses the theme tune to The Good Life over the B7 S4 titles, but it's neat how closely the changes in the tune match up with the movements on the altitude/level indicator.

Phew, I was worried there had been some kind of brussel sprout-eating reaction.

From "Brakes! 7" to "Breaks 7", as everyone breaks about seven bones in their bodies.*

* Don't worry, viewers. It's not quite so bad. Every B7 fan knows seven is one more than four.

Bones? Bodies? I fear these guys only have a skull and no other bones. Unless, of course, their brains work mechanically.

Don't worry, I'm not drawing the equivalent of Blake for the Observatory strip.
Let's see how our heroes fare:

How do we hang the baubles on that tree??
I look behind me, what do I see? A pair of golden wings seem to be attached to me.

Actually, I'm more concerned about the candles!

So we have trumpets, Welsh street signs, tapirs, molecular models, mass specs, and Soolin's bum (!?). And I thought my tree decorations were eclectic. Actually now I rather want a molecular model ornament.

Ah, good - you recognised it. I wasn't sure if my drawing did her justice.

And candles lit with tapirs, er tapers?

Phew! I thought they'd have to find the local abandoned hydro-electric power station and start it up again while avoiding noticing how similar parts of the set look to Scorpio.

I would love to have a lighting display that looked like Santa towed by the Liberator.

For a moment, I thought it was the Poseidon Adventure!

Thanks. They are based on a photo of the control room of Zschornewitz power station, which was built in 1915 and decomissioned in 1992.

I don't have any candles on these fir branches, but there is a Liberator cruising around the tapirs.
Must be some giant interdimensional tapirs...

I had two differnet ideas for the display: either Father Christmas's sleigh towed by the Liberator or the Liberator towed by reindeer.

You have done them very realistically!

TT would recognise it anywhere.

And if the crew of Red Dwarf flew around a moon that looked like Felicity Kendall's bum for two days, they'd fly around one shaped like Soolin's bum for eternity Wink
