Sorry - not quite with you.

I wondered if they used 'Goodnight Sweetheart' in a story about love and time travel in homage to its use here in a story about love and time travel.

Non-intervention feels a lot less natural to humans than intervention. 'Do nothing' is a really hard concept to grasp.

I'll bet it was sloshing around subliminally, at least.

Now I've never wondered about that but it IS an idea!

Basically, Original Star Trek gave us:

1) B7
2) Goodnight Sweetheart
3) Lots more Star Trek

Cygnus Bazza
Basically, Kirk needs to make sure Joan doesn't read the Green Cross Code

You're very unusual. Yes indeed.

Well, that's World War Two won, at least!

Cygnus Bazza
Marvellous episode, that one!

I hate it when fans say Bill Shatner can't act. The look on his face as the away team talk...brilliant

Looks like AA and OSP are still the other side of the time portal...

I agree. I never, ever watch Trek and think he's anything less than spot-on. (Except once or twice, maybe)

Of course you are. But now it's time to go inside, dear...

Yes, sorry. I restarted a different version to try to get a better picture, so Kirk and Edith are just setting out for the cinema.

Phew... Thought you might have detoured via 1977 and ended up in a David Soul video.

I finished a rewatch of S1 just before we started this rewatch and I was thrilled by WS's acting. He really GOT Kirk.

A great episode indeed. Also unusual in that two redshirts beamed down to the surface, and both returned.

Cygnus Bazza
Maybe in AA's timeline, Edith doesn't get clattered, Hitler wins and M1 is President of the Galaxy.

Something went wrong at the script-editing stage

Amok Time next, presumably?

I really do think we should have rewatched all 80-odd of these, tbh.

Amok time sounds good. I need to go now - I haven't eaten, and I have nothing in the house to eat, so I need to catch Sainsbury's before it closes . . .

Apols - she's got more names than Boris bl**dy Johnson - who's just bought a place down the road, as it happens, and has already been seen in Tesco. (Shopping, not working)
