trevor travis
The episode: (1.6) Garland's War by... yup, it's the return of Terry Nation
The date: Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022
The time: 7.45pm UK time

No spoilers please, because we have some Horizon members who are watching this for the first time in ages and don’t remember much of it. As a result, I will only post my review of the episode after it has ended.

Wait and see Wink

Although if The Fourth Horseman is 11 out of 10 on the bleak-o-meter, and Gone To The Angels is a 10, I'd say Garland's War is only about a 6, from what I recall!

Well, I expect even Terry Nation needed a break from the complete misery.

When you've got limited fuel, why put on the lights to the vehicles, when no-one else is on the road?

survivors titles are minimal in design and absolutely succinct to the point. I think they're great.

Er, Abby, Peter is quite a common name. It's name like he's called Eldred or Ethelred!

Yeah, the chance of Peter being alive is so small. Although I recommend the book... Wink

It's nice that some people do want to just rough it alone for now. i think most would need time for groups to form, to pick where to go.

You can see why some folks are wary of joining a larger group...

While Charles was ... ahem ... 'working' on re-populating Britain, these guys seem to have the very opposite objective.

And a completely different character form Tim Downing... Richard Heffer is really great.

And beyond that! The pubs in the 1990s were horrible - came home stinking of smoke and I didn't smoke!
