B7 Killer
Another disease-ridden episode. Living in closed environments like domes, research stations or spaceships must be conducive to spreading infections. Luckily (?) Blake & Co arrive with...well, not exactly solutions. Perhaps you can imagine the rest. Let's just say it doesn't end well, unless you're aboard the Liberator.

Yay safe on the Liberator! Great to know that Blake and Jenna managed to survive to fight and destroy the federation another day.

For once I don’t mind having a Blu-ray player only in my bedroom to watch Blake’s 7 therefore forcing me to bed at ‘old people‘s’ bedtime - because I have to be up tomorrow at 4:45am to watch Delta Goodrem win Eurovision!! Yay!!!

Well, Tyce, it's beginning to look as if fans of Eurovision tend to be fans of ABBA, and vice versa. There is a connection, of course, but is this really necessary? Will you be doing the whole Eurovision party thing, with your Austrian food and leather trousers, alphorns and suchlike?

Hi Virn, How are you? Yes, it’s compulsory to be both an ABBA fan and a Eurovision fan. ;-) Very often I have a 5 am Eurovision party either at my place or at my friends place around the corner (or occasionally just trot over to your end of the universe to see it live) but this year I’ve given it a miss partly cause I’m not well and partly cause I’m busy because I leave for London on Friday.

Be thankful you're not trying to navigate London today! Huge crowds already building for the Unite the Kingdom rally. Sorry to hear you're unwell again - hope all is fixed before your UK trip.

Oh that sounds awful. I hope they don’t have a second rally next Saturday!!

Evening. Just finished catching up from last week. Ready when you are.

Hi All. Happily, I haven't like Eurovision since Sandie Shaw won back in 1967. 1967 was a great year musically, but sadly, not thanks to Ms Shaw's offering. I did notice it again when Abba won because it was a pretty good song and it was during my last year of school. Then – HORROR! – noticed again when Buck's Fizz won because we were in the UK at the time, and then when Denmark won in 2000 because I was there then. On the other hand, my dearly beloved loves it for the laughs.

Everyone well?

Yep! Just deciding whether or not I want some chairs like those in Dr Bellfriar's office. NEST UK has them on sale.

I'm surprised you haven't bought some already. Call yourself a fan?

I like the photos of the big piece of glass through which they filmed that big installation that A+V are headings towards.

Sadly, I couldn’t watch in 1967. I didn’t exist. But I have to say I do love Sandy Shaw, Buck’s Fizz and the Olsen Brothers.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well.

Killer with new FX. A pity they can't change the costumes.

Actually, I love Sandy Shaw and Puppet in a String.

Living the dream, Obsidian. And you?

I like this story but I do find some of the costumes ridiculous.

Tynus seems to be glad to see Avon. What mischief did they get up to in a former life?

I think the costumes make it. It's a good story and they're just wearing PPE.

If that's PPE, they're vulnerable round the edges.

Dr Bellfriar is a great character and Paul Daneman plays him so well. Senior academic not fussed by competition (unlike a lot of them).

Hello everyone - sorry I'm late. I was enjoying sitting in the sun having breakfast rather too much, and forgot the time.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, Tyce - hope you feel better soon. Are you still interested in meeting up next Monday? I doubt there will be another protest next week - they tend to be few and far between, fortunately.

And we're back again at my least favourite episode . . .

Why does Blake pull the key on Orac when it MIGHT have some other, pertinent things to say? Because he's a pompous p****?

Paul Daneman does a great job in the role.

Tynus echoes the comment about Forsferon being a remote 'hole'. Dr Bellfriar obviously chose to be there but perhaps Tynus was sent there as punished. And perhaps dobbing in the Liberator crew is an attempt to ingratiate his way off again.
