Start time 7,45pm (BST) Dark Matter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uX7wX...p;index=13 (The link takes you to the whole of series 1, with episode 1 at the bottom of the list. Of course it is). In the dystopian 27th century, six people wake up on a deserted spaceship with no memory of who they are or what they're doing there. Frankly, I have no idea what to expect from this. It's recent, it's American, and I suspect it might be an attempt to emulate Blake's 7. I may be wrong, but...when the by-line is 'R they villains or heroes?', it does make me wonder. That's why I want us to check it out. I'm sort of expecting OTT noise, guns, fighting and possibly, somewhere in there, a storyline... look, just humour me, eh? (Not to be confused (as I was) with the other Dark Matter...2024, now showing on Apple TV: A physicist in Chicago is warped into an alternate version of his life, leaving him to fight to return to his life to prevent the alternate version of himself from taking over his family. based on a book by BLAKE Crouch). Warped, definitely IMO. Got all that? Good. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I've just started watching this. It is a little B7ish, also some similarity with Firefly. I'm only a couple of episodes in, but curious to see where it is going. Sadly I won't be able to do the rewatch. I'm US east coast time and will still be at work. |
