The episode: Colin Thirteen – Terminal (Carry On Up the Particle Cloud) The date: Tuesday, 22nd September 2026 The time: 7.45pm UK time (TT, you're really making me work this time. Where's the thread?) All good things must come to an end, And this is the very end of Blake’s 7. An episode in which - RATHER HUGE SPOILERS - the Liberator is destroyed (until one of its lost floating limbs auto-repairs into a complete DSV), Zen secretly downloads itself into one of Orac’s spare storage banks, Servalan assumes the Liberator crew have started living like a bunch of filthy students since she was last aboard in “HARVEST”, Vila takes up art, and the crew are stranded on the planet Terminal with Deep Roy keeping them company in a gorilla suit. Episode in a word: Rug-pull Character to cheer: The rather sassy GPS nav-ball. Character to boo: Servalan’s finger-snapping chief scientist. Is Soolin looking lovely this week?: According to TT, “Yes.” Recognisable Face: Gerald the Gorilla. After working with David Attenborough, Gerald branched out to appear on Not the Nine O’Clock News and the Planet of the Apes TV series before appearing on B7 as a Link. By reprising his role here in Terminal once again in Rescue, he then became a Continuity Link. Suggested snack: About twenty Twix, arranged Jenga style in honour of Servalan's shoulder decoration. Best exchange: Quote TARRANT: Where are we going, Avon? AVON: "Profound philosophical questions never really interested me." TARRANT: "Not up to your usual standard.” AVON: "Yes, well, I'm tired." - or - Quote TERRY: "I’ve taken the bold step of ending the series with Blake dead, though I did it off screen. That’s the way to finish a show, off one of your main characters!" CHRIS: "Hold my beer.” Blake's 7 will not return… not unless there’s a last minute reprieve by the BBC (the Bountiful Billy Cotton, that is). There's a moment in this episode where Avon lands on Terminal during a high wind. His hair gets blown to the side and it looks like he's sporting a rockabilly quiff and sideburns. He looks like a Ted. See if you agree! And there's moor where that came from! |

Major spoilers ahead for the uninitiated. It’s 19:45 Earth Standard Time, and here is the news from Earth Dome One. I am your in-studio reporter, Lee R. Pantsonfire. Our top story tonight, Blake is dead. Roj Blake has been credibly reported as dead, having died of wounds sustained during the galactic war. In other news, Liberator has been destroyed, though there is no news as to the fates of Kerr Avon and his criminal cohorts. In other news, there is a Big Orange Swirly Thing In Space alert for sector 10. Thanks to the Jupiter Mining Corporation ship Red Dwarf for the alert. Closer to Earth, the current administration has been deposed, as the former president had too many failures, and spent far too much time chasing ghosts around the galaxy, ignoring the presidential duties here in the core worlds. That former president, whom I will not name, has been declared a non person by the new administration. At last the insurgents are dead or scattered, the insurgent’s ship Liberator, source of their power, is destroyed, and a new Terran Administration is at the helm of state. This can only mean… …Peace in our time….. Stay tuned for our 20:00 movie, the appropriately ironic, given today’s news, ‘The Death Of Stalin.’ . .  Cockatoo? What Cockatoo? I don't see a Cockatoo! |
