Hi everyone, Suggestions needed..... Hopefully you have seen my post about the postponement of Tyce-con 2022. https://www.blakes7online.com/forum/v...#post_6054 I have been given a complimentary ticket to the VIP night of the ABBA Voyage Concert in London on 26 May 2022. So I'm coming to the UK!! Want me or not!! LOL I only received the tickets in the middle of the night on Thursday 5th May - so my head is in a spin and I have so many things to organise. I hoping you can give me some suggestions for accommodation and sightseeing to help me plan quickly. I have just booked flights - and booked one weeks accommodation. I arrive 22 May (at 5:05 yawn) and have accommodation for the first week at the Premier Inn Blackfriars in Fleet St. That first week will be rather taken up with ABBA events. There's about 12 of us in my ABBA group 'invading' that week so we have lots of plans (just need to stop typing for a minute to pinch myself.) But after that first week (starting Monday 30th) I am footloose and fancy free - and looking for suggestions. I have 2 thoughts about a return to Australia date: 1. I return 6 July, 2. I stay 7 or 8 weeks and go to Forever Avon (which I'd really like to do). Option 1 means staying in a nice hotel and living it up. Option 2 means going on a serious budget. Do any of you know of a clean, safe, low budget places to stay to help make Option 2 possible. Also if I'm in the UK for 8 weeks I'd like to do a little travelling around. So sightseeing suggestions would also be awesome. Castles, wilderness, Stonehenge etc. I've got to go now, I still have to sort out vaccines (and certificates), finances, what to bring and I'm crossing my fingers to hope that my passport is ready by tomorrow as promised. Many thanks in advance. I am so excited!! Cheers Tyce Edited by Tyce on 09-05-2022 00:39 |
