* A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken. * Alien Cally, native of the planet Auron. Cally was meant to be (to quote the dictionaries) a person who rises in opposition or armed resistance against an established government or leader. In her first appearance, she lived up to this description, but soon her skills were attributed to the male characters and she became the moral "conscience" of the crew. Cally was telepathic and her psychic abilities were an asset to the crew. On the other hand, it occasionally made her susceptible to being taken over by telepathic influence. Your thoughts are very welcome in this thread. Edited by Lurena on 27-01-2022 03:17 |

How much we missed her presence in S4. Verily, the conscience of the crew. The directionless drift - seemingly - of the crew is the effect of her death, I think. I also think that a real threat to the rebuilding of the Federation would have centred around Cally. It needed a 'rebel with a cause', another Blake to make it work.
