I do wonder if I am coming at this from a different angle from other people. I like 'group of people on a space ship/station' series - all the possible variations on that - so Blakes 7 fits in with Star Trek, Babylon 5, Firefly etc. - and with this series. I get the impression that other people come at Blakes 7 from a 'vintage British TV angle' - would I be right to think that? I watch B7 cos I like the show and don't do comparisons. What's the point? No point - I was just wondering. Anyway, hello everyone - hope you are all well. Sorry I meant what is the point in comparing? Does it enhance your viewing? I was interested to watch this because there were said to be some parallels with B7. To some extent I think that's true. But then this lot are either conserving energy or don't have light switches. The Blakes 7/Danish crime drama crossover? |

That's a very Star Trekkish space station. I thought about Battlestar Galactica. I watched the original series. Yes, that too. I don't know if I should watch the new series. Well, relatively new. By the way, I watched the first season of Rings of Power, and I liked it. There are some interesting decisions. That's what I thought - about Rings of Power, I mean. The new Battlestar Galactica has its moments, but it's long, and (I thought) the ending doesn't really live up to the setup. What did other people think about it? New Battlestar Galactica is darker, as far as I understand. As for Rings of Power, I don't think it is popular somewhere. Though it is really not bad. |
