I can't understand why these didn't have more fans, either then or now. Maybe people just didn't understand this sort of humour.

I have to say that I don't. It's quite amusing, but not more than that.

Jeremy - the Tarrant equivalent?

Don't remember Tarrant having a wife and kids, or trying to kill himself.

There's a lot they didn't tell us!

There's a couple of fanfics there!

But Anne, this is where we see the value of learning defunct languages!!

Wysteria, not buddleia. And this is a rather sunnier planet than Blake and co ever found.

I did like that bit! (Even though I suspect that the value of defunct languages is going to be that they lead you into a trap).

trevor travis
Oh, it's them again!
Vote Og.

I grade the marvels!

So what Servalan set for Avon in Terminal was a hero trap? And he fell into it!

I preferred Travis without the tattoos.

Is this where they go the idea for Hunger Games?
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

trevor travis
Okay, now a night scene, while the rest of the crew watch. It's definitely Duel!

But with the rat-on-a-stick from Blake!

Not quite sure what to make of that episode - a bit bizarre!

Let's hope you never have to use a fleeing tube when you wear the Og headgear!

By the way, what can one feel in a feeling tube? (I guess the answer involves a certain gunslinger...)

trevor travis
Now going back to watch Space Javelins.

That was fun. I won't be around next week, but I'll catch up on the episodes before the following week.

When I first saw it, I think what I liked about it was the freedom from all the do-goodiness of ST etc and the humanness of the characters. The amout of detail one can pick out from the writing and the sets is amazing.
I still like bizarre. And Jeffers.
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

M1795537OCVirn
OK, then, good night, and good watching, TT.

The detail is impressive - but I would like the characters to develop a bit beyond one dimension. I had hoped to care a bit more about them by now.
