UPDATE JANUARY 2023. Sally has now had her operation and is slowly recovering, though it's long process. She is very appreciative of all the good wishes she has been (and is being) sent, and we wish her a smooth and steady return to good health. She is still hoping she might be able to return to the tour of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel but this wouldn't be until summer 2023. Please continue to share your messages for Sally on this thread and I will be making sure she sees them. ORIGINAL MESSAGE (13 October 2022) Sally has asked me to let you know that unfortunately she’s not been well, and for the time being has had to pull out of the national tour of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, in which she was playing the role of Jean. She's hoping to return to it next year. She will be having an operation in the next few weeks, and will take some time to recover afterwards, but intends to be ‘fully up and running’ in the spring. Sally has said she is treating this period of rest/operation/recuperation as a ‘new role’, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see her creating a new play from her experiences, including references to hospital food! She has reassured us: “I am still the feisty Jenna I will always be!” and thanks us for our concern. I’m sure you’ll all join me in wishing Sally a full and speedy recovery with much love and healing thoughts from us all and have created this thread for messages to be left for her. So sorry to hear that you haven't been well, Sally, and have to miss out on the tour for now. A shame for your fans but your health comes first. All good wishes for the operation and beyond. May it proceed so well that you don't have to endure the hospital food for too long, and that you make a full and speedy recovery. Can't wait to see you back better than ever. xx❤️❤️❤️

Dear Sally, I’m sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. This must be a difficult time for you as having to pull out of a tour is something you wouldn't like to do. Wishing you a successful surgery, courage, positivity and all the best on your time of recovery. Hi Amanda, you (and everyone I'm sure) will be relieved to know that Sally had her operation a few weeks ago and is now recovering though it's a slow process. She's asked me to thank everyone for their good wishes and is very touched at our concern and love. I asked her about the show and she said she very much hopes she'll be able to get back to it but if she does it definitely won't be before the summer, so we'll just have to wait and see and of course Horizon will keep you posted.
