Sort of, if in doubt, shout some nonsense? In the book Kneale explains that the PP get themselves worked up into a bit of a state, hyperventilating almost, getting the adrenalin going...fits into the puzzle later Silflay hraka, u embleer rah!

You can tell it's a later film than the ones we watched before. Better effects, sound quality and continuity.

Things I like about Quatermass 4: Quatermass - the old man has no fire in him it seems and yet...it is there under the surface. When asked to comment on the hands in space project he says he is ashamed amd he is quick to show his anger. Then he sinks back into this apathy. But it's there, like a sleeping dragon. The concept - the idea of this distopian future where so much has been lost instead of discovered is fascinating. You continually ask questions about causes and reactions. The Big Bad - the less we see, the better and we have yet to see ( in episode 1 I don't want to give things away) the enemy. We gain a glimpse of its actions at the end of the 1st episode and that is mind boggling. The folk story feel - there's a line drawn between them and us, good/bad like in all the best folk tales. But also like in the tales, it's not that simple...Then there is Huffity Puffity Ringstone Round...what a fabulous creation. It is a proper nursery rhyme with all the darkness hidden in simple words/tune. The music - it sounds ...right. I can't put it any other way than that not being musically knowledgeable. It has atmos.
