When people go on about the poor quality effects in Blakes 7, I always feel like reminding them that this is the competition - it's no more realistic.

Must be the only planet with no buddleia. Or evidence of quarrying.

It's more about if the actors make you believe and both series win on that score (mostly)

He's expecting weapons to grow on trees! And don't talk so loud, Kirk. Mr Gorn has ears.

I’m honestly not sure! I just assumed they were made of styrofoam as a kid, and I guess that’s just what I’ve stuck with thinking over the years!

If the Gorn are an intelligent species, then presumably all of its hissing is a language. I wonder what he’s muttering to himself the entire time?

I would watch Captain Kirk’s personal vlog! Even better if it’s intercut with excerpts from Spock and McCoy’s!

Kind of the Metrons to include close ups and wide angle shots. ;-)

Kirk could whip off his shirt and strangle the Gorn with it, thus revealing his manly chest.

So the Metrons are doing the filming? I was wondering how we got to see it since there are the only two beings on the planet.

There's a scene in the Tribble episode where the stunt double is one of a number of crewmen drinking in the bar. When DS 9 did their episode based on it, one of their crew (O'Brien I think) mistakes him for Kirk.
