Does he have similar gaps in his knowledge? What happens about the citations?

There is one episode in Series 3 where he says "citation needed"

Excellent!

Does any other fleet captain have one of those green wrap-around things in any episode? Or was it something Kirk picked up in a charity shop?

AnneArthur
Now in the DS 9 episode the scene with Chekhov and Uhura and the tribble was the other way round.

I do love the design of a Klingon battlecruiser

Cygnus Bazza
A Klingon goatee. Like Nickelback in space.

Kirk has soft, cuddly tribbles, who prove life-threatening, Avon has Sopron, which looks and feels like a rock and scares people, but it saves their lives.

I can't imagine Avon with a tribble!

Is the Klingon called Captain Colon???

M1795537OCVirn
Creepy under-made-up Klingons!
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Cygnus Bazza
Scotty watching engineering porn

Koloth, I think. Although I'm sure the Klingons would like to claim Christopher Columbus!

Cygnus Bazza
Spock is genius in this episode

Worf: 'Yes, they are Klingons, and it is a long story; we do not speak of it'.

Isn't that the point of him being Spock?
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Cygnus Bazza
Bill S pitches it absolutely right in this episode.

Double genius then

They do need the ridged forehead, to be fair

I think that green wraparound thing is his ballet practice top - he forgot to change.
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Cygnus Bazza
There's a Klingon at that table who looks like Bobby Charlton

That's the explanation I've been searching for these last 50 years.

Cygnus Bazza
Scotty as the voice of moderation - until they start dissing his beloved.

Perhaps he and the Klingon captain are going to enter Strictly Come Dancing?

M1795537OCVirn
'Shore Party - avoid trouble with the Klingons'? But trouble is what being a shore party is all about.

Cygnus Bazza
Chekhov's got a big comb-forward combover. How's that going to stand up in the fight scene? Actually, maybe it WILL stand up in the fight scene.

Same-sex couple doing a Cha-Cha to 'Let Me Entertain You'. It's a ten from me!!!

AnneArthur
The man with Scotty and Chekhov in the bar was apparently Kirk's stunt double - in the DS9 episode O'Brien mistakes him for Kirk.

Aren't we all?

Yeah but, worryingly, Scotty's beloved is inanimate

This scene is hysterical! Beautifully played by Kirk & Scotty

Cygnus Bazza
Comic brilliance.

Cygnus Bazza
Spock-McCoy - another brilliant scene

AnneArthur
I know why everything is back to front, compared with the episode I saw last night - the Dailymotion videos are all back to front: why?

Cygnus Bazza
Who got the contract to make all those tribbles???

Lots of stuff on YT does that too.
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Cygnus Bazza
That tribble poking out of Uhura's tunic - great touch!

M1795537OCVirn
That 'assistant' chap in the background is struggling not to laugh.

Lots of stuff on YT does that too.

So if YouTube pinched it from DM and then showed it to us, it'd be the right way round?

Seems logical.

Who do you reckon was most prone to the giggles? I reckon Mr Sulu (even though he's got the night off, apparently)
