The date: Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022
The time: 7.45pm UK time

No spoilers please, because we have some Horizon members who are watching this for the first time in ages and don’t remember much of it. As a result, I will only post my review of the episode after it has ended.

Mr Soggybottom from Big Fish?
Or Scotty's alien friend in the Star Trek parodies by J.J. Abrams?

Grin Grin

Lovely title isn't it? Shock

I've heard that Episode Nine is the light-hearted comedy episode.

Ah hold on, hold on, there is some unintentional comedy in Starvation, but I won't tell you what it is - you'll have to wait and see Wink

Ooh, I am intrigued...
Actually, I must say that after all the reluctance I have expressed about watching Survivors, I find I am enjoying the rewatch. Well, when I say enjoying...

Does this mean you've not been watching as much Daffy Duck afterwards as you expected? Grin

Well, actually and to my great surprise, yes.
I must have been on a real downer when I 1st watched Survivors. At the time, the environmental debate was really getting underway and the doom and gloom projections of what would happen if we didn't change our ways really affected me. I was a proper misery...
But now I can see the Survivors as a great drama reflecting the fears of the time and not get caught up personally in the misery of the situation.
And part of that, yet again, is rewatching with you guys*.
I said before you all restored 'Blake' to me - as a story, as the beginning of the B7 legend - and I think I am seeing Survivors in a new light too.
Thanks everyone!
P. S. I will make it to tonight's rewatch. See you later

* please note when I say guys I mean everyone regardless of gender. I got picked up on using this by a customer and I had to explain myself. I could equally say gals but strangely that word sounds like an archaic term to me. Anyway...Grin SmileSadWinkCoolFrown

Og is disappointed that he's been left out as one of the guys Pfft Pfft Pfft Wink

But, yeah, Survivors is good being watched in a group - and it can be enjoyed as a great drama series (which it is).
