Just a reminder that this rewatch takes place tonight.

And just a reminder that no spoilers please. I'm sure there's something from the final episode that all of us who have seen it remember (even when memories from the rest of the series are hazy) but no giving the game away beforehand!

Thanks TT. I don't remember, but I may do so as the episode proceeds!
I look behind me, what do I see? A pair of golden wings seem to be attached to me.

So there is hope that someday I may be able to forget all this?

Hi, Lorna, hope you're well. I wouldn't say these episodes proceed so much as ramble about a bit. But it's all in good taste, because those in charge wear blazers and have safe English accents.

I am wondering if we will need to get the hollyhocks out tonight...

A hero in a modern drama wouldn't wear a blazer!!!

I don't remember these ones at all. I will be here, but might not be posting much for the first few minutes as I am still eating my dinner.

Dinner finished, and he is still just waking up in the village . . .

Leo McKern's No 2 seems rather miffed that he's been brought back!

I am becoming convinced that the butler is really number 1. If the black cat isn't, of course.

I, on the other hand, find it rather reassuring - at least failed number 2s do not seem to be eliminated.

Did no 6 say "o-blue-terate" it? Are we in pepperland?

Remember the title, folks.

Progress report number 6 would seem to be a short document. Progress - none.

Colin Gordon was also No 2 twice (in the third and sixth episodes).

It would seem to be a better title for the last episode.
