Oh dear, I seem to have hit a sore spot. I will take that back about the coffee . . .

This body-and-mind-snatching meme keeps cropping up in fiction. Probably some sort of atavistic fear thing for humans.
Cally did rather overdo it, though.

Oh dear. Confirmed tea drinker, me.

Didn't know one had to be confirmed to drink tea....

Coffee gives me migraines. Am I one of Them?

Have you been confirmed?

Not that I'm aware of.

If there is one on the floor somewhere, presumably. Wouldn't have the required effect, though.

Wouldn't firing bullets randomly be rather dodgy inside an underwater tin can?

Not walking the plank but going overboard anyway.

I do find that name grating - Seaview sounds like a B&B in Margate.

Oh, come on. We all know Nelson's never going to kill Crane. Even to save his crew. Nope. Not happening.

I'm finding all these crewmen in red shirts rather disconcerting - I hope they are not like Star Trek redshirts!

M1795537OCVirn
Golly. Nobody died. And they went all profound at the end. Interesting!

That was a bit of an anticlimax!

AnneArthur
But interesting. I thought his flaw was going to be that they were too principled to turn on one another like animals, but it turned out to be their technology. Very much of its day.

Yes please - they're very enjoyable.

Just watching the next episode. The storyline seems to be the same as the film which preceded the series.

Anyway, thank you for a very enjoyable watch!

It was on one of my lists... would you like to watch it? Or move on to series 3?
"You're not sulking, I hope?"
