Hurrah! I so enjoyed last week's episodes. I'll say it again: a great choice.

Library was quite peaceful apart from the storytime event! Speaking of peace and quiet, the Tuesday rewatch was strangely peaceful..and yes, I was there....

Hello everyone! A more productive day than last week, I think - I have managed to discover that several people in the index to my book of heresy trials are in fact the same person, so the index is getting satisfyingly shorter!

Just about to start.

Yes, well, on Tuesday I was catching up with my brother, not having seen him for three years. And nobody notices whether I'm there or not, plus I get the re-rewatch on Saturday with the Aussies.

Argh! Advets. Especially the one with the stupid woman who can't even pack a suitcase without asking a certain AI. Good grief.

I also prefer the Saturday rewatch - I think with fewer people there is more of a conversation.

Anyone (looking at you OSP), know if 'Tolly' has done anything else since COGK?

I thought that it looked like Peterborough Cathedral from the outside, but not from the inside.

I discovered a sixth one a few years ago - The Stones of Green Knowe, where Tolly meets Roger d'Aulneaux, the Norman boy whose father is building the original house.

I find picking them up quite easy. It's playing them where I struggle. Although I was once the 'herald' in one of our village pantos, and they gave me one of those long post-horns as a prop. Don't think they were expecting me to make a noise with it. Frightened the life out of the 'king'.

Have we seen this Green Noah yet? I think in the book it was a topiary Noah, very overgrown and needing a trim.

Maybe I should have asked if the boy who played 'Tolly' had done any other acting since this. Not whether Lucy B wrote a load of books.......

If Tolly's parents were around they'd make him wear his cap. At least he has some gloves.

I was one of the heavenly host for a while, then they found that I was good at doing the readings, which got me out of dressing up - for which I was very grateful!
