I'm sorry. I have just seen that we were supposed to start at 7.30. For some reason I thought it was 7.45 - I was surprised at how late you thought I was! Sorry.

Do you think Tom is from the early 20th century? Edwardian times.

If he is, he can't be the person in the grave - they died in the 1870s.

7.45 for me too. Does it say something different?...

Sorry - I've carried straight on without asking

Just testing. I probably confused it with the Aussie Rewatch times. So much to do, so little time....

True. It does get you thinking though. Great stuff.

Is there a lot of call for stunt cats? Roxy asks . . .

So if they are free, where are they? Or perhaps I should say, when are they?

Properly dead, I should think.

Well Tom's sister had died hadn't she?

They've had pretty good weather for the end of October!

And still a lot of leaves on the trees.

So was that statue always there, or did Minty turn her to stone?

Has she? I missed that.

I was thinking I will have to keep an eye out for it, next time I watch Moondial.

Wasn't Tom crying over it? It was very brief.

If you watch the reviews etc that I posted at the beginning, you'll see that Jacs felt there shold have been a more overt connection between Miss Raven and Miss Vole. I think she's probably right. (But then I would say that). I think she did try to make one, but there wasn't much space/time for her to do it.
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

AnneArthur
That was good, but I actually feel that it could have done with being a little longer - to make the connection between Miss Raven and Miss Vole, for example, or to give us a bit more information about Sarah.

Yes, it was a slightly underdone bit of the story. But a child's imagination fills the gaps.

That's BBC budgets for you, I expect.

Loved the 'ghost-hunting' outfit! I just happen to have a cloak myself...a friend gave it to me - still don't know why - but it's red (velvet - gorgeous!), not black, and while I don't believe in ghosts it has come in useful a couple of times as part of a stage costume.

Do we know of any other spooky children's stories to watch? Or shall we try something quite different?

I'd like a change, really. There was some support for watching The Champions, or there's always Red Dwarf!
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

OneSparePart
Is The Champions available to stream? We could cherry pick some eps.

Yes, it's on youtube. At least, I've found ep 1. Also on ITVX apparently.

I think I found a link somewhere, or I wouldn't have suggested it. Probably. I'll need to check!
