Oh the upsetting stuff must be the terrible attitude to murder... ![]() It doesn't seem any different to Avon or Servie's attitude to murder ![]() Avon or Servalan might execute, but they don't murder. There's a difference. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Now that is proper 1970s wallpaper! We used to have some like that - had it until the late 1980s when it was never longer in vogue!

1973 when there was colour TV, but virtually no-one had them! We didn't get one until the late 1970s.

My Open University programmes were never like that. You mean with a man hitting the telly who is in bupa? None of my OU tutors ever spoke directly to camera...or came right up to it to emphasis a point. And they usually wore t-shirts. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

In fact, it may have been the early 80s before we were gifted a colour tv I do remember my first TV when belonged to me, rather than my mum added, was a B&W portable. It was no good for my computer (Acorn Electron), though, that needed to be colour. So I got given an older second hand colour TV, and my B&W portable went downstairs in the dining room and I used to watch the snooker on it. Yep, snooker on a B&W TV

So this is all a load of propaganda about how policing and forensic methods have improved since the '70's?

Ah yes, it reminds viewers of the casual sexism of the 1970s. Maybe that's one reason for the warning for modern 2020 viewers!
