I think Bannister Jnr did it. But I don't have a Party Seven to bet with.

Too slow for the scene Not if you do the "Forward he cried from the rear and the front rank died" bit. It speeds up slightly there. Vote Og.

I'm wondering if it was even a murder. Dodgy 'elf and safety would be very parody-seventies. |

Do you take sides when watching LOM? I mean, you know Sam is right...in yr head but yr heart maybe feels sympathy for the guv? I mostly side with the guv! I know what you're saying but I think it's a testament to John Simm's acting that we don't actively dislike him given how much in ooposition he is. Silflay hraka, u embleer rah!

If he's admitted it, I reckon his son did it and he's trying to get him off the hook.

Was the seventies really this miserable? I was a child then, but I remember it as being more cheerful. |

What Sam says about police procedure is sound but how many times do today's cops fail to live up to it?

What Sam says about police procedure is sound but how many times do today's cops fail to live up to it? If you're talking about the Met police, you might have a point. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I'm more and more convinced I haven't watched since it was originally shown in 2006. I remembered bits from the first week - this week, I don't remember this at all!

Was the seventies really this miserable? I was a child then, but I remember it as being more cheerful. I'm kind of the same. I was actually born in 1973. I remember the late seventies as a kind of bliss. I very much doubt that it was. Vote Og.

Bannister Jnr is playing it as if he was a Scouser - without the accent because he's supposed to be from Manchester.

It's hot wired in us to enjoy life (unless someone did stamp on our toys) I remember my delight when we plugged the TV Game back into the back of the TV and we cpuld play "tennis" That was late 70s, acually probably early 1980s. I think we only got a colour TV in the very late 1970s as well.
