So all that was just so they could squeeze another series out of it?

You can't relegate such a great idea to one series. Still, Ashes to Ashes WAS a step too far, for me.

It was a simple little idea, but what they did with it was pretty good.

Great doesn't have to be complicated.

Thanks for both your company. My Thursdays soon get busier, but will keep on watching Season 2, even if it's not always live. I'm not doing Ashes To Ashes, though.

Me neither. Series 2 though...are we doing it?

Yeah, go on. I'll be here whenever I can!

Is there something more cheerful we could do for a bit of a break before we plunge on into the next lot? Or can't you wait??

Oh, I thought Ashes to Ashes was series 2. Does this not end here, then?

I will go with that if you want a break. What do you suggest?

No there is a 2nd series of LoM with...no spoilers here...a definitive ending.

Dunno. I'm all emotioned out atm. Watched The Quake earlier - the one about an earthquake in Oslo. And then this.
I'd watch Camberwick Green if it would cheer me up.

I think I'm slightly disappointed. I thought that we were going to get some sort of resolution.

How about Blackadder 2? Very little is as funny as that.

There were three series of Ashes to Ashes? I don't remember there being that much of it, but I saw the whole thing.

Not Dinnerladies. Too close to home for me.

A film? Wouldn't that be too long? My favourite is The Dish - great film, excellent Aussie humour. Definitely a 'space' connection.

I prefer Blackadder 1, but then I am a medievalist.

I stopped (during Season 2, I think) and started again for Season 3 (can't remember if just for the last couple of episodes), since it was all coming to an end. I remember A to A not being a patch on Life On Mars.

I was just thinking of going back to the beginning. Underrated series.

Just googled it. Sounds good.

Talking of Aussie humour, how do we get in touch with Tycecon?

Nice little film. As is Cosmos (2019 film) but that isn't comical.

There's a thread in the 'conventions' section, or you could PM Tyce, or if you want to watch the Zoom (around 8am Saturday) send me your e-mail address.

No idea where we could stream The Dish, so maybe it's Blackadder, then. Let me know!

Maybe Blackadder is easier. Couple of episodes a week only takes three weeks. I'm happy with any of them, I'll let you decide on 2, 3 or 4 (I really like 1, but it's just less laughs and you wanted laughs) Wink

It seemed to me at the time that the last episode of S1 would have wrapped up the whole thing, but the show was so popular they changed the intended finish so they could keep going.
