The episode: Barney Three - Weapon (Carry On Mister Smooth) The date: Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025 The time: 7.45pm UK time In which Travis has a new costume and a new eyepatch – I’m sure something else is different as well. A new hairstyle, perhaps? Maybe we can figure it out during the re-watch. Also, Cally becomes Teacher’s Pet, while Servie is more devious than ever, and Avon’s worse nightmare comes true - there’s THREE Blakes in this episode. And there's high collars galore and even a Siberian hamster! Episode in a word: IMIPAK! Character to cheer: Mister Smooth, who apart from his extreme arrogance, comes across as a relatively decent chap. He certainly manages to charm Servie. Character to boo: Clonemaster Fen seems to have some sort of God complex. It’s not attractive. Is Soolin looking lovely this week?: Yes. Recognisable Face: John Bennett (Coser) played Li H'sen Chang in the “Doctor Who: The Talons Of Weng-Chiang” a couple of years before this. That’s right, he played a Chinaman, complete with yellow make-up. He did a pretty good job too, but you’d never get away with doing that nowadays! Best line: “Auron may be different, Cally, but on Earth it is considered ill-mannered to kill your friends while committing suicide.” Blake's 7 will return in… Carry On Space Primitive. Vote Og.

I will always remember Gary when I watch this episode. His Coser outfit was the centrepiece of most of his displays . He was so proud when June Hudson gave him the gloves. I wonder what happened to them.

Apart from being in Dr Who, John Bennet was in Richard the Lionheart last week...or was it the week before? And dear lovely David Jackson was not only in the Larkins on Monday morning, but also in Z cars on Saturday evening. The episode was directed by David Maloney as well!!!

Speaking of costumes, doesn't that nice red lobster suit appear for the first time. BTW, that leather was really nice and soft to touch...just in case I never, ever mentioned it.....
