Sam's in a box, a musical box, wound up and ready to play. But this box can hide a secret inside! Can you guess what is in it today?

Link to daily motion below. BBC iplayer is the better option.

Most importantly, the mighty Hawkwind are back IIRC. I do love a series where it's like they borrowed my record collection. Gilbert O'Sullivan excepted, of course; very little that was good ever came out of Swindon. Apart from XTC and the A4361 to Avebury.

Not as mighty as Atomic Rooster who are the most used band on LoM. But speaking of Swindon, aren't you counting Rick Davies or is he excluded like Gilbert?

Damn. Rick's from Swindon. You're Bloody Well Right. Will have to treat you with more respect From Now On.

Is there life after Life on Mars? Have you decided which town the Rewatch Wagon Train will be rolling in to next? Hope to have scope for a dabble once May's out the way. I believe the Complete TISWAS Boxset is available, but may have dreamt it. Plus the bit where I was drafted in as an emergency Houdi-Elbow. What a day, a year, a life it is.

Step away from the firearm. Before DI Hunt gets here.

Edit: DCI Hunt. Schoolboy error.

Shut up about LoM, CB and tell us your best pick for the Eurovision winner.

Malta for the lols (they've been told to 'clean it up' ). Sweden are favourites with an odd sauna-themed song. Slovenia will traumatise everyone. I've a grim foreboding France might nick it with their chanson-by-numbers effort.

None are as good as Hawkwind's 'You Shouldn't Do That' which you'll all wrap your shell-likes round this evening. Still kicking myself for not keeping powder dry and suggesting LoM when I'd have a better chance of 'contributing'.

And I thought I was late...

OK, then. Thanks for that CB. France, eh? Oh well, we'll win the thing again one day.
What's on the menu for LOM tonight, then? It's only ep 5 so he still won't be getting home any time soon.
Wonder if OSP's going to remember to log in?

Hello, everyone. I like the Camberwick Green figures, but this is a grim start.

AnneArthur
Have France ever won Eurovision? They love chansons, but no-one else does.

Typing and stroking a cat at the same time is hard work.

That's about right. Smile

France last won Eurovision in 1977, with a Marie Myriam singing 'L'Oiseau et l'Enfant', which sounds suspiciously like your song, OSP.

M1795537OCVirn
I'm trying to watch, talk to you, and continue a text conversation with my daughter, who has just adopted a donkey, apparently.

No. Diffrent song. Mine was earlier pre ABBA.

In other news, a British woman is now apparently the world's oldest person.

Suggest she calls the donkey Travis.

What's up with Sam, eh? Doesn't seem too happy with his colleagues.

I tried growing tomatoes from seed this year, and today I have been potting up 48 Alicantes. Gardener's Delight tomorrow . . .

If you know anyone in the York area who wants some tomoatoes, please let them know!

I'm finding the flashback style slows the story down a bit.

The donkey is called Toby already. And lives in a donkey sanctuary, so she doesn't have to get it up the stairs to her appartment.
