M Boss, surely it concludes rather than continues? I refer the questioner to the answer I gave earlier. I do see where you might have a problem: the series continues, it also conlcudes. Neither excludes the other. But it is gratifying to see you refer your dilemma to a higher authority. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Neither excludes the other. But it is gratifying to see you refer your dilemma to a higher authority. And all you did was change the tense of the verb 'to continue'. Please can we have the past historic or the pluperfect next time?

It's blatently obvious that the thing continued in the past, because not only have we rewatched it once before, it was on TV back in the olden days. However, even if it had been continuing, or had continued sometime in the past, can we really say it had had been continuing (or had had continued)? Technically, it also goes on continuing, and will continue continuing, because it's available on DVD, dailymotion etc. although sadly, our current rewatch of it does conclude this week. We used to put a magic eye poster on the door to the workroom. Anyone leaving would bump into a stack of assistants looking very wide eyed

The first two of series 2 I didn't think you joined in with that one: the episode where they joined the Green Javelins (an update of the Red Dwarf) and the Reality TV one featuring the return of our red friends with the inflatables on their heads.
