I don't really like this part of the story. Kirk is playing out of character for me. He is usually more measured in his response. I suspect something about this touched a nerve for him. Unfortunately, that’s never really explored like they did in the ep Obsession. “Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light. Spock is very loyal to Kirk even when he disagrees. Good second to n command,gives opposing views,different options,points out problems. And Kirk takes about as much notice as Blake. At least Kirk does listen in other episodes I plan to live forever,or die trying.

Spock is very loyal to Kirk even when he disagrees. Good second to n command,gives opposing views,different options,points out problems. But unlike Blake, Kirk normally does pay attention to Spock. It's out of character/ bad writing. And Kirk takes about as much notice as Blake. Silflay hraka, u embleer rah!
