Argh!! Please, no more wasps!

OK, I was wrong (for once) about Marina. For your information, Taiellin, she's a sort of underwater lady who Troy seems to prefer to Atlanta. Perhaps because Marina can't (or won't) talk.

Yes, sometimes absense of speech can be an advantage.

Philistine!
The music behind the opening credits of the series is an excerpt from the Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia from the ballet Spartacus by Aram Khachaturian.

If the Admiral wants them to 'heave to' they're going to have to stop scrubbing and grab the sheets.

Update: it does have sidelights on the stern. but they're the wrong way round. That ship looks as if it's sailing backwards!

Evening all! No, I'm not watching, just passing, because the following caught my eye:

Drumnadrochit. Great name. That's where we found the Nessie merch shop. Bought a glass representation of you-know-who. Unfortunately, it lost some of its tail and neck over the years. Now it's just a blob, and some happy memories!

One of the many places I haven't been.

One of the few places I have been – yonks ago on a tour to Urquhart Castle. Wasn't there also a Nessie museum?

I never watched Stingray. It aired in Germany around 1990. I remember that I went round to my parents and found my dad, then already an OAP, glued to his seat watching Stingray, although he never was a fan of sci-fi!
So, I don't know about Nessie in Stingray. But in the following excerpt, you can see Nessie in all her glory. (Don't mind the dialogue.)

How can one man sail a ship that size?
