The dialogue all sounds very improbable just now. The aunt slaps her, but doesn't apologize, and all the talk about her mother's accident just sounds very far-fetched. It's childrens' TV. People don't have proper breakdowns etc. all very simplistic. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I liked her encounter with the servant boy, especially each thinking the other a ghost. |

I looked up Belton Hoouse. It's actually in Lincolnshire. Should have known not to believe anything on Google. It's National Trust, so you can viait it.

But where's Servalan? Be patient, my child. Not just yet. Have to get the annoying ghost people sorted out first. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Isn't it interesting how so little has changed at the house since Victorian times? Even the trees are exactly the same height...

And doing its best to be omnipresent. So, how are you liking it so far? (So good to hear Her voice again, even if only momentarily). Enough ghosty bits for you? "You're not sulking, I hope?"

And buddleia first brought to this country in the eighteenth century - so it could be modern buddleia, or Victorian, we don't know. |
