Incidentally CB, only two copies of the Kassia CD left on Amazon. It's genuinely brilliant. Have I started a stampede? |

I had always thought of Friar Tuck as a Franciscan, but he seems to be a Dominican, I think. Now you're casting Cistercians Nah, Cistercians are monks, not friars. Brother Athelstan is always saying that. What's the diff? Monks retreat from the world to live in community in abbeys. At the end of the twelfth century/beginning of the thirteenth, this got less respect than previously - some people were beginning to feel that they led quite a cushy life in their isolation. The friars were founded in response to this - they lived in community, but their houses tended to be in towns, and they left them to preach, teach, and instruct the laity in the faith. |

Of course. The villains don't learn from their mistakes. They should have killed Robin at once. |

First, you'd need to find out if he was real, or just a legend. Or a symbol of hope. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Of course. The villains don't learn from their mistakes. They should have killed Robin at once. Always kill the hero at once. Do not make a speech to him. Above all, do not let him make a speech. If all villains complied with this rule, we didn't have half of the stories. Edited by Taiellin on 14-08-2025 19:20 |

Did Paul Darrow have a clause in his contract that he had to wear studs in every series he appeared in? They don't really work here. |

I agree. Be fair. They are fitting the whole Robin Hood story into just 6 episodes. Silflay hraka, u embleer rah!

That five-annulet coat of arms thingy looks like a bad first draft of the Olympic rings No it's the Mysterons! Rather a lot of them though. I think they were just easy to draw for the people in props/costumes. "You're not sulking, I hope?"
